All Time Fall Out Cobra Monday Station: The Musical

Saturday, April 25, 2009
Someone should write a musical with music by the bands in the "Believers Never Die, Part Deux" tour. It would be ironically emo and ridiculous, laughing at the scene kids and pseudo-hipsters who refuse to accept the fact that they are scene kids and pseud-hipsters but creative enough so that these kids enjoy it without realizing they're being made fun of. Pete Wentz can produce it; he has a lot of money.

It would open with The City is At War by Cobra Starship, mainly because it's stuck in my head.

But really. Someone should write this.

  1. That kind of reminds me of how Beavis and Butthead was a parody of the MTV generation even though it was on MTV and yet, it was one of the most popular shows in that network's history.

  2. Clueless as well is another one of those satire-y things taken at face value.

On another note, Cobra Starship is such a guilty pleasure. Which they address in the song "Guilty Pleasure."
